In the month of October, the activity department hosted Riverhaven’s First Annual Chili Cookoff. Staff bought in crockpots with their famous recipes. Who better to be the judge than our residents? Each resident was given a sample of each contestant’s chili and let their taste buds award who had the best. We paired our chili with peanut butter/syrup sandwiches, Fritos, sour cream and other toppings of your choice. This activity was perfect for the fall season. Our marketing director Rebecca Dunn holds this year’s title for Riverhaven’s best chili maker. We thank all contestants. Our residents enjoyed them all.
