Salute Veterans We Love You!

patch quilt with red white and blue fabrics for Veteran's Day

“If tomorrow all the things were gone, I’d worked for all my life, and I had to start again with just my children and my wife. I’d thank my lucky stars to be living here today, because the flag still stands for freedom and they can’t take that away. And I’m proud to be an American where at least I know I’m free. And I won’t forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.”

Lyrics By: Lee Greenwood, Proud to Be An American

We are blessed, Oh so blessed! Today our beloved local community donated from their hearts and we are filled with pride. Our local Dairy Queen establishment donated 10 Dairy Queen blizzards, and the Quilters Association donated 6 blankets to our new vets, and the Paducah Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution donated thermal shirts and socks to all of our veterans in our community. We are humbled by their kindness. 💖🇺🇲
