Letter from the Administrator
Happy Easter! The Lord has Risen! & Families Can Visit!
Happy Easter to our community, River Haven family, and friends. What a year, right!!! We’ve had time to reflect on the past year and found pictures from our previous Easter Parties. Well, if you can call social distancing, wearing a mask, and sitting in your room having an Easter party. “Bah-humbug”!!! Wait, that’s what Ebenezer Scrooge, the main character in Charles Dickens’s A Christmas Carol (1843) says. Well, I bet you get my drift. We were super lucky, that last Easter was beautiful outside. April was still considered the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic and was just beginning to affect our community. We were all trying to get a grip on the state regulations, Office of Inspector General rulings, and keeping our community safe. Whew!!! I don’t know about you, but I am ready for some normalcy.
Thank you, Lord! What a blessing! Visitation is open. A huge shoutout to the Kentucky administration for this monumental move. Our loved ones need their families. Their mental health and wellbeing depend on it.
To those of you who need to hear a prayer may you find comfort in one I hold most dear. ✝
“May the glory and the promise of this joyous time of year bring peace and happiness to you and those you hold dear. And may Christ, Our Risen Savior, always be there by your side to bless you most abundantly and be your loving guide.” -Author Unknown.
Happy Easter,
