Our residents sure know how to party! October bought is much fun and many activities. The month’s resident choice meal was Red Carpet themed. Per their request, our dietary department prepared Marinated Steaks, Shrimp, Baked Potatoes, Salad, Rolls and Cheesecake. We dolled up our residents in ballroom attire, did their makeup, hair and made them look fabulous. Staff participated as well. It was a good time. The activity department took a special trip with our Veterans. We took them to The Wall that Heals which is ¾ replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington DC. One of our residents was able to find a friend’s name who he stood beside him in Vietnam. Can’t forget about Halloween! Riverhaven threw a huge party on Halloween day for our residents. Everyone dressed in their costumes, we ate until our bellies couldn’t take anymore and had a blast. Riverhaven’s residents and staff want to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Bring It on 2019, we’re ready for you.
