Letter from the Administrator

Hello. I am Derek Holbrook, I’ve been a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator for four years in Colorado, Kentucky and Wyoming. I have an extensive background in the long-term care field, a bachelor’s degree from Lindsey Wilson College and two Master degrees from University of Louisville. I am happily married to the love of my life Britta and we live with our three small dogs: Buddy, Sissy and Gizmo. I am originally from Eastern KY born and raised. After spending years in the west coast as an adventure for my family, I am happy to now be back in my home state practicing as a LNHA. I am an avid Kentucky basketball and San Francisco 49’s fan. I am passionate, driven, hardworking, optimistic person who likes a challenge. The residents are my boss and their well-being and safety is my highest priority. I look forward to serving my residents and my community. Go Big Blue!
