Letter from the Administrator

River Haven nursing and rehab administrator at her desk

River Haven is still hard at work keeping your loved ones safe and free from COVID-19. As our community works toward re-opening we want you to know that their safety is our number one concern. We know that during this unprecedented time your anxiety must be through the roof. Please allow me to set your mind at ease knowing that we are doing everything in our power including passing the office of inspector general infection control audit not more than a month ago with flying colors and zero deficiencies.

Our nursing heroes love their community. We have been working on putting together activities to keep everyone from going stir crazy. For example, last week we had a parade for families and friends along with the fire department, and community supports to allow everyone to visit under the social distancing guidelines with their loved ones. It is our dedication to our family of residents that keep us thinking outside of the box to come up with fun ideas to motivate their minds.

If you are ever wanting to visit your loved one through the window glass and get a peek into your loved ones world please do not hesitate to contact our facility. When a resident has an opportunity to see their family it brightens not just their day but they’re week there months it truly has more impact on them than I can even express. We thank you for entrusting us to care for your loved one and hope that we will be able to continue to keep everyone Covid free.
