A Letter from the Administrator

Dear Reader,

It is with great pride and gratitude that I share the exciting news that we have successfully completed our annual survey. The results reflect zero deficiencies in Life Safety and one B-level tag, equivalent to zero deficiencies on the Health Survey. This achievement is a direct reflection of the dedication, heart, and teamwork

During the survey, the survey team was complimentary of the aesthetic beauty of our building, the welcoming environment felt upon entering, and the professionalism displayed by our staff. They specifically noted how quickly our team responded to requests and how organized and prepared leadership was throughout the process. The NHA had all survey documentation completed and ready prior to surveyors entering the building — a level of preparation that speaks to our commitment to excellence, accountability, and pride in what we do.

It is this type of preparation, teamwork, and shared vision that has truly put River Haven on the map.

River Haven is more than just a healthcare facility — it is a calling, a purpose, and a blessing wrapped into a building that has served this community for many years. While we are proudly part of an older structure in the competitive Paducah, Kentucky market, we have embraced the opportunity to blend history with progress. Over time, we have worked intentionally to transform not only the inside of our building but also its external appearance, creating an environment that feels warm, dignified, and inviting for residents, families, visitors, and staff alike.

At the heart of our success is our people. Our Director of Nursing Catherina, has poured her heart and expertise into ensuring our clinical team is held to the highest standard of excellence. Her leadership, combined with the commitment of our nurses, aides, therapy team, dietary staff, housekeeping, maintenance, administration, and support staff, has created a culture of accountability, compassion, and teamwork. This survey outcome is not the result of one person — it is the result of an entire team working together with one shared goal: providing exceptional care to those who call River Haven home.

River Haven will continue to grow, improve, and strive for excellence while staying grounded in what matters most — people, purpose, and heart. Thank you to our staff, residents, families, and community for believing in River Haven and being part of our journey. The best is yet to come.

Warmest regards, Teresa Belt, Administrator
